RF Engineering Manager
Location: Lyndhurst, NJ
Level: Experienced/Manager

The RF Services division is currently seeking a senior level RF Engineer to build and manage a team of engineers covering the NY/NJ/MD/PA area, supporting our customers in the design, deployment, and maintenance of their wireless networks.  Our main customer base are the major commercial wireless service providers.

The ideal candidate has held previous leadership positions, is highly motivated and has the ability to work in a fast paced environment.  Applicants must possess strong project management and communications skills, technical aptitude and demonstrate composure working in high pressure situations. The candidate selected will be interacting with customers and co-workers on a daily basis and must be able to provide timely and detailed updates.  He or she will be exposed to various RF applications and should understand the best practices for any given situation.

The reporting location for this position is in our Lyndhurst, NJ office but will require some travel to satellite offices in MD and Upstate NY. The position will also require some field work in addition to office work.

Job Description

Candidate will be responsible for recruiting, selecting, training, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining direct reports; communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions as well as enforcing policies and procedures. He or she will manage a team of RF engineers for the expansion of the RF Services Division in the NY, NJ, MD, and PA markets, striving to grow the customer base by establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.

  • The work in the RF Services division entails but is not limited to the following:
    • System tests utilizing scanners, spectrum analyzers, transmitters, and other electronic receivers and test equipment;
    • Macrocell, SmallCell/CRAN and oDAS design;
    • Data collection and RF propagation modeling and analysis;
    • Radio frequency exposure studies;
    • Interference and intermodulation analysis;
    • Public hearing attendance and testimony;
    • Multi-task and manage projects on a day-to-day basis
  • Travel to various C Squared offices and job sites within the markets described above will be required.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Completion of a Bachelor of Science program in Electrical Engineering is preferred;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;

Sales Engineer
Location: Auburn, NH
Level: Experienced/Non-Manager

C2 Systems is currently seeking a Sales Engineer to join our team.  You will work closely with the Sales, Engineering and Support team to provide technical leadership with customers including training, installation and initial activation of systems. The Sales Engineer will also gather Customer requirements and translate them to technical requirements so that Engineering can develop solutions.  Maintain a comprehensive enhancement and fix schedule, product road map and communicate this to Sales and Customers. This position will require the ability to travel 50% of the time.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support Sales providing technical expertise with Customers on Cproducts and services including attending Sales calls and performing technical presentations.
  • Provide technical training to Customers on the best practices and uses of Cproducts and services
  • Gather Customer requirements for enhancements and fixes for issues with the current products. Translate these needs to technical requirements for engineering to improve or fix the product.
  • Maintain SmartSheet tracking for all bug fixes, enhancements etc. Keep Sales and the Customer informed on the specific timelines for fixes or enhancements.
  • Perform initial technical discovery for new applications or uses for Cproducts and services. Organize requirements and provide engineering a high level description of the solution required. Work with engineering and the Customer to fine tune the requirements for a desired solution. Drive and track the development effort and communicate progress with the Customer.
  • Perform installations at Customer sites when required. Train Customer or Customer technical contractor on how to install and maintain systems as required.
  • Attend trade shows and have the ability to present the technical solutions to potential Customers in a professional and positive manner.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years in a technical Sales Engineer Role – Supporting complex solutions with large and small Customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Customers to solve difficult technical product challenges.
  • Ability to construct and deliver detailed presentations on complex solutions.
  • Ability to “think out of the box” when discussing possible solutions and new applications for Cproducts and services.
  • Advanced working knowledge of networking concepts.
  • Very organized. Have the ability to maintain and communicate project plans, schedules in a professional manner, even when dates slip.

RF Wireless Technician
Location: Beltsville, MD

C2 Systems is currently seeking a mid-level Radio Frequency/Wireless Technician to  join our team. Radio Frequency Design Engineer
Location: Syracuse, NY
Level: Entry-Level

C2 Systems is currently seeking an entry level Radio Frequency Design Engineer to join our team in our Syracuse, NY office.  The candidate will perform a site survey of potential systems, gathering existing data and coverage as well as general site information. Using the information gathered on the site survey the candidate will design an efficient Distributed Antenna Systems from start to finish, and create an accurate price quote for the design. Once the projects go to construction the candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction and project manage construction of Distributed Antenna Systems. Once the system is construction complete the candidate will be responsible for system activation and optimization, ensuring that the design criteria is met and the system is functioning properly.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.  Applicants must possess strong technical aptitude and be comfortable working in high pressure situations.  The candidate will be interacting with customers and co-workers on a daily basis and must be able to provide timely and detailed updates.  He/She will be exposed to various RF applications and should understand the best practices for any given situation.  This position will require the individual to be in the field approximately 10% – 20% of the time.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Perform site surveys and in-depth walkthroughs
  • Design complete and accurate Distributed Antenna Systems using engineering design concepts.
  • Project managing the construction and installation of these Distributed Antenna Systems, keeping to all building codes and customer construction requests
  • Perform system tests using scanners, spectrum analyzers, transmitters, and other electronic test equipment
  • Take lead on system commissioning, integrations, and activations
  • Work hands on with system components such as antennas, fiber optics, coax, and RF amplifiers
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems for optimal performance

  • 10% – 20% travel to various job sites usually within Upstate New York.  Occasional trips outside of New York.
Skills/Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET – accredited academic institution.
  • Understanding of engineering design concepts, testing procedures, and ability to adapt and change these procedures as new situations, equipment, and technologies are released.
  • Ability to multi-task and keep multiple projects in different phases of completion organized and completed in a timely manner

RF Field Technician/In-Building
Location: Auburn, NH
Level: Experienced/Non-Manager

C2 Systems is currently seeking an RF Field Technician to focus on the activation and repair of iDAS (In-Building Distributed Antenna Systems) and oDAS (Outdoor Distributed Antenna Systems).  Travel will be primarily within New England traveling to Customer locations on a daily basis.

Primary Responsibilities
  • The Sales Representative acts as the subject matter expert regarding the entire firm’s products and associated services

Electrical/Mechanical Engineer
